Fil-Am pasok sa Top 10 ng American Idol; pinaiyak si Katy Perry
PASOK sa Top 10 ng bagong season ng American Idol ang Filipino-American singer na si Francisco Martin.
Sa huling performance ni Francisco, pinaiyak pa niya ang isa sa mga judge na si Katy Perry at muling pinahanga ang dalawa pang AI judges na sina Luke Bryan at Lionel Richie.
Kinanta ng proud Fil-Am sa nasabing round ng reality singing search sa Amerika ang original ni James Arthur na “Falling Like the Stars.”
Sa pamamagitan ng teleconference, nagbigay ng kanilang comments ang mga judge kung saan hindi nga napigilan ni Katy ang mapaluha.
“I’m sorry because I’m having a day. I don’t fit into my stuff and then when you sang those lines about having four kids and getting down on each knee.
“I was like… sure it was hormones but it was believability, too. It was believability and I felt it,” pahayag ng award-winning international singer-recording artist na buntis ngayon.
Sabi naman ng country singer na si Luke Bryan, isang “diamond in the rough” si Francisco at baka raw napaiyak din siya kung meron din siyang hormonal issue.
“You know Francisco, you’re like a diamond in the rough. You know how to get the emotion out of the song. If I was a little hormonal, I’d be crying right now,” aniya.
Comment naman ng American singer na si Lionel Richie, napatunayan ng Fil-Am singer na may karapatan siyang makapasok sa finals.
Pinuri rin niya ang nanay ni Francisco na isang frontliner ngayon sa US na patuloy na nakikipaglaban sa coronavirus.
“First of all, I cannot just tell you how proud I am of your mom for being a first responder. A shout out to your mom for sure,” pahayag ni Lionel.
“Let me talk about you for a minute, halfway through that song I just saw you fly out of that nervousness and give us exactly what you’re all about which is a true talent. Good luck,” dagdag pa niya.
Nagpasalamat naman ang AI finalist sa lahat ng kanyang supporters sa pamamagitan ng Instagram.
“We did it! Top freakin’ ten. The love and support from all of you are out of this world. Looking back on my first-ever audition in Oregon, it’s crazy to see just how much we’ve achieved on this journey together.
“You’ve all made an impact on my life that I will never forget,” mensahe ng binata.
Ang tanong makapasok kaya siya sa Top 7 ng competition? Yan ang dapat abangan ng kanyang fans mula sa iba’t ibang panig ng mundo.
