DINAGDAGAN ng 250 miyembro ng Philippine National Police-Special Action Force (SAF) ang bilang ng mga pulis na nagbabantay sa hard lockdown sa Tondo, Maynila
“We greatly appreciate the generosity of SAF in sending us augmentation in this battle against the unseen. Verily, they will be of great aid in the implementation of the hard lockdown in Tondo, Manila,” ayon kay NCR Police Office director Maj. Debold Sinas.
Pinaiiral ang 48-oras na hard lockdown sa District 1 ng Tondo dahil sa patuloy na pagdami ng kaso ng Covid-19 sa lugar at sa mga sumusuway sa enhanced community quarantine.
Nagsimula ang lockdown alas-5 ng umaga kahaponay matatapos alas-5 ng umaga bukas.
Matatandaang sinabi ni Brig. Gen. Gen. Rolando Miranda, Manila Police District director, na 800 pulis mula sa distrito ang itatalaga upang ipatupad ang lockdown.
Mahigit 200 residente ng District 1 ang nadakip dahil sa pagsuway sa lockdown ngayong araw.
