NCAA nag-donate ng mga PPE sa PGH

BIGLA man natigil ang Season 95 at ang susunod na season ay hindi pa sigurado, patuloy lang ang National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) sa pagbibigay ng tulong sa laban kontra coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Kabilang sa mga inabutan ng tulong ng NCAA ay ang Philippine General Hospital (PGH). Nagkaloob ang pinakamatandang school league sa bansa ng nagkakahalaga na P500,000 personal protection equipment (PPE) para sa mga medical frontliners.

“Each member school of the NCAA has done its part in the relief effort with donations of food and equipment,” sabi ni Season 95 management committee chairman Peter Cayco ng Arellano University. “This is the first time that we are giving a donation as a whole.”

Si Cayco, na executive vice president ng Larong Volleyball sa Pilipinas Inc. (LVPI), ay nagpaabot din ng tulong sa mga frontliners sa Malabon City.

Ang LVPI ay nagbibigay naman ng pananghalian araw-araw sa mga frontliners malapit sa opisina ng LVPI pati na rin sa mga lugar sa Philippine Sports Commission.
