Ikalawang drive thru testing center binuksan ng Taguig

BINUKSAN na ng Taguig City government ang isa pang drive-thru testing center nito kahapon.

Ito ay matatagpuan sa Northeast Parking Area sa tapat ng Kidzania, sa tabi ng CitiBank at IBM One World Place sa Bonifacio Global City.

Sampu ang agad na nagpa-testing dito sa uang araw ng pagbubukas.

Ang unang drive-thru testing center ay sa Lakeshore Hall na binuksan isang linggo na ang nakakaraan.

Bago pumunta sa drive thru testing center, ang residente ng Taguig ay kailangang tumawag muna sa COVID-19 hotline sa numerong 878-93200 o 0966-419-4510.

Ang drive thru center ay bahagi ng Systematic Mass Approach to Responsible Testing (SMART) program ng siyudad upang mas marami ang masuring residente bilang bahagi ng paglaban sa coronavirus disease 2019.

Bukod sa drive thru maaaring magpa-test sa Hatid-sundo program ng barangay, City Epidemiology and Disease Surveillance Unit (CEDSU) testing team na pumupunta sa bahay ng susuriin at sa mga pampubliko at pribadong ospital.

Nagsagawa ng training ang lungsod para mas marami ang health workers nito na magkaroon ng kakayanan na kumuha ng swab test.

“The new skill would enable our health centers and workers to respond to COVID-19 even beyond the enhanced community quarantine and for the long term, especially if the disease is later on declared as a notifiable disease,” ani Mayor Lino Cayetano. “SMART is a framework which ensures that everyone who needs to be tested will be tested. We are making testing accessible to the most number of Taguigeños we possibly can. Testing is a very important part of a successful COVID-19 response. It saves lives.”
