Sakaling magka-Covid-19, Bato kakapit kahit sa albularyo

WALANG nakikitang masama si Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa sa ginawa ni Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) chief Gen.

I were in his shoes as a COVID-19 patient.”

“Nothing is wrong. In times of crisis we have to be practical so much so that there is no prescribed medicine yet that can cure COVID-19,” ani dela Rosa na tila sinusuportahan ang kanyang mistah at the Philippine Military Academy (PMA).

Magkasama sina dela Rosa at Santos sa PMA Sinagtala Class of 1986.

“If I were in his shoes as a COVID-19 patient, I would even reach out to a quack doctor just to stay alive,” giit ni dela Rosa.

Kamakailan ay kumalat sa social media ang larawan ng sulat ni Santos na humihingi ng tulong kay Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines Huang Xilian upang makabili ng China-made pills noong nagkaroon siya ng COVID-19.

Gamit ang letterhead ng AFP, sinabi ni Santos sa Chinese ambassador na “I intend to give the said drug to my close friends who have also been infected.”

Partikular na ipakiusap ni Santos ang “procurement of 5 boxes of Carrimycin tablets which is available only in China,” dahil naniniwala siya na “the said medicine helped in my recovery from the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) infection.”

Inamin ni Santos na sumulat siya sa

Chinese ambassador pero agad niya itong binawi nang malaman na hindi pa ito abrubado ng Food and Drug Administration bilang gamot kontra-Covid-19.
