AABOT sa 2,000 Pinoy seafarers ang ire-repatriate ng Magsaysay Maritime Corporation matapos huminto ang kanilang mga pinapasukang cruise ships sa iba’t ibang panig ng mundo.
Ito ay bukod pa sa 327 seafarers na dumating sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport noong Linggo.
Ang 327 na umuwi ay galing sa mga cruise ships na Costa Diadema at Costa Victoria na dumaong sa Italy.
Sila ay dinala sa isang hotel para sa mandatory 14-day quarantine.
Ang Maritime Industry Authority ay nakikipag-ugnayan sa Overseas Workers Welfare Administration upang matulungan ang mga pinauuwing seafarer.
