“We are also determined to fast track the accreditation of subnational laboratories so we can start the massive testing of PUIs and PUMs. We expect that by April 14, we shall be able start massive testing. This will allow us to identify the COVID-19 carriers, isolate and treat them,” sabi ni Galvez.

“Within the next 10 days, we hope to convert the Rizal Complex, World Trade Center, Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) as quarantine facilities. We’ll also deploy three doctors and 50 nurses at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex,” dagdag ni Galvez.

“In addition the above-mentioned facilities, we are also looking into the possibility of converting the Quezon Institute, Philippine Sports Complex (ULTRA), Duty Free Philippines-Parañaque, Amoranto Sports Complex, Quezon City Memorial Complex, and Veteran’s Medical Center Complex into quarantine and isolation facilities,” pagtiyak ni Galvez.

“We have now 8 accredited hospitals we are asking DOH to expediet other hospitals nationwide,” sabi pa ni Galvez.
