COVID-19 testing center sa Eastern Visayas maaprubahan kaya?
UMAPELA ang dalawang kongresista sa Department of Health na tulungan ang mga lokal na pamahalaan sa pagtatayo ng testing centers para sa coronavirus disease 2019 upang mas mabilis ang pagtukoy sa mga nahawa nito.
Ayon kina House Majority Leader at Leyte Rep. Martin Romualdez at misis nitong si Tingog Rep. Yedda Marie Romualdez mas magiging mabilis na makokontrol ang pagdami ng nahahawa sa COVID-19 kung mas marami at mabilis ang ginagawang pagsusuri sa mga sample ng pinaniniwalaang nahawa nito.
“We call on the DoH to assist LGUs working on the establishment of their own testing centers to arrest the COVID-19 pandemic. The guidance and expertise of our health officials are needed to ensure that testing centers are compliant with the standards,” saad ng mag-asawa.
May aplikasyon umano ang Eastern Visayas Regional Medical Center sa Tacloban City upang maging COVID-19 testing center. Kung aaprubahan ito ang magiging unang testing center sa Eastern Visayas.
Noong Marso 27 natapos ang self-assessment at risk assessment ng testing center alinsunod sa guidelines ng Research Institute for Tropical Medicine at World Health Organization.
Nauna rito, hindi pinayagan ng DoH ang testing center ng Marikina City government.
