“Doing so will augment our means to face the current crisis, without taking away from our future needs,” ani ACT Secretary General Raymond Basilio. “This is an injustice to teachers who have complied with all the stringent requirements demanded of them and have delivered over and beyond services to their students amid dire shortages in their schools. We shouldn’t be the ones to suffer the consequences of DepEd’s profuse inefficiency. The COVID-19 crisis only adds to the urgency for this injustice to be rectified.”
“We have not received a clear response yet to our appeals regarding the 2018 PBB. We do, however, hope that the country’s current predicament due to COVID-19 will finally compel them to urgently grant our plea,” ani Basilio.
