DOH naalarma sa 1-month nationwide mall sale sa harap ng banta ng COVID-19

NAGPAHAYAG ng pagkaalarma si Health Secretary Francisco Duque IV sa planong isang buwang nationwide mall sale sa harap ng banta ng novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

Idinagdag ni Duque na pinapayuhan pa rin niya ang publiko na umiwas sa mga matataong lugar para makaiwas sa COVID-19 matapos namang payagan ng gobyerno ang kauna-unahang nationwide mall sale sa Marso.

“If it (mall sale) will be continued, we are consistent with our advisory, the procedure must be followed,” sabi ni Duque.

Idinagdag ni Duque na dapat na sumunod ang mga mall operators at pupunta sa mga mall sa mga protocol para maiwasan ang COVID-19.

Kabilang dito ang paggamit ng thermal guns at pagpapakalat ng alkohol sa palibot ng mall.

“It can be held but we discourage people from going to places where there is quite a volume of people just to make sure that no increased risks are going to confront our people,” ayon kay Duque.
