TINANGGAP ni Pangulong Duterte ang pagso-sorry ng ABS-CBN at sinabing nasa Kongreso na kung lulusot ang prangkisa ng media network.
“Yes. Eh nandiyan ‘yan. I accept the apology, of course,” sabi ni Duterte sa isang ambush interview sa Malacanang.
Nauna humingi ng paumanhin si ABS-CBN President at CEO Carlos Katigbak sa Pangulo matapos namang iere ng network ang political ad ni dating senador Antonio Trillanes IV sa kasagsagan ng kampanya noong 2016 presidential elections.
“No, I said I’ll leave it to Congress,” dagdag ni Duterte.
Idinagdag ni Duterte na dapat na i-donate na lamang ng ABS-CBN ang P2.6 milyong halaga ng hindi umereng campaign advertisement.
“Huwag na (ibalik). Ibigay na lang nila sa any charitable institution of their choice,” ayon pa kay Duterte.
