GREG Slaughter
KUNG si Barangay Ginebra Gin Kings coach Tim Cone ang tatanungin mukhang wala siyang balak bitiwan o ipamigay ang 7-foot-1 sentro nitong si Greg Slaughter.
Ito ang sinabi ni Cone matapos magpahayag sa social media si Slaughter na nais muna niyang magpahinga sa paglalaro ng basketball.
“I am out of town at the moment and I don’t have any news of Greg at this time. We plan to speak with him and his agent over the next couple of days,” sabi ni Cone.
Una nang nagpahayag sa kanyang social media account nitong Sabado si Slaughter na nais niyang magpahinga matapos na mapaso ang kanyang kontrata sa Barangay Ginebra.
“Six years, four championships, a lifetime of experiences and memories. It’s been a fun ride being with this team. I will forever be proud to have played for Ginebra, a dream of mine that came true when they drafted me in 2013,” sabi ni Slaughter sa kanyang Instagram account.
“With that, now that my contract has expired, I’ve decided to take a break to be able to work on myself in all aspects. I may not know what the future holds, but one thing is for sure, the best is yet to come,” sabi ni Slaughter.
Ilang beses nang napabalita na balak ng Gin Kings na i-trade si Slaughter bagamat hindi naman ito natutuloy.
