Dahil sa nCoV threat… PMA homecoming ipagpaliban muna – Lorenzana
IMINUNGKAHI ni Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana na ipagpaliban muna ang alumni homecoming ng Philippine Military Academy (PMA) sa gitna ng pansamantalang pagsasara ng Baguio City para makaiwas sa 2019-novel Coronavirus.
Sa isang kalatas, sinabi ni Lorenzana na suportado niya ang pasya ng PMA na pansamantala munang di tumanggap ng bisita at mga “outsider.”
“This is in step with the decision of the city mayor of Baguio, Hon. Benjamin Magalong, who imposed a mandatory a city-wide lockdown for tourists and visitors.”
“Unless the city mayor reverses his decision before February 14, then I suggest that the PMA homecoming be moved to a more auspicious date in the future,” ani Lorenzana.
Naniniwala aniya ang DND na tama lang na iwasan ang mga sitwasyon na maaaring maglagay sa peligro sa kalusugan at kaligtasan ng mga kadete, PMA alumni, at kanilang mga pamilya. (John Roson)
