EDGAR ALLAN GUZMAN AT COLEEN GARCIA

Sabi ng aktres, napakasarap ng feeling niya bilang misis na wala nang bisyo ang kanyang mister, “He quit alcohol for more than a year now, talagang ibang-ibang tao na siya ngayon.

“And he’s cool with his temper and everything, and very reasonable to talk to.

Well, I mean, the weight wasn’t really a problem, but it became, like, a side effect of everything. I guess, a side product of quitting all the bad habits was losing the weight.”

“Pero ang saya lang. I maybe just speaking for myself, but as wife, yun ang pinaka-happiness talaga na makukuha ko, na I’m able to influence my partner to be better, yung maging source of inspiration ka na ganun.

Patuloy pa niyang kuwento, “Actually, kasi si Billy, he used to drink at home. Nakakaisang bottle siya on his own. It’s really not healthy, it’s not productive, it’s not good for you in any way talaga.”

“With Billy kasi, he’s not the type na kailangan mong sabihin na mag-stop ka ng ganito. Kasi even yosi, nag-stop na siya ng six years or almost six years ago. Even yun, ang hirap-hirap nu’n. Pero nandu’n yung determination niya, and he really worked hard at it at hindi na talaga siya bumalik,” dagdag pa ni Coleen.

Samantala, feeling blessed naman si Coleen Garcia sa pagpasok ng 2020 dahil ang pelikula nga nila ni Edgar Allan Guzman ang magiging buwena-manong Pinoy movie na ipalalabas after ng Metro Manila Film Festival, ang tinaguriang “romcom with a big twist” na “Mia” directed by Veronica Velasco.

Ito rin daw ang unang pagkakataon na magiging title role siya sa isang pelikula, “Almost two years na I didn’t do a film and I just wanted the next one to be different, I just want the next one to be good and I want to do, and something I want to be proud of.

Lahad pa niya, “I was just looking for that something different and it took a while for it to get to me, and I really waited for it. So, ito na yun. Ito yung Mia. It’s everything I hoped it to be.”

Makakasama rin dito ang ex-couple na sina William Martinez, Yayo Aguila with the special participation of Billy Crawford.
