Juday, Allen Best Actor at Best Actress sa MMFF 2019; Mindanao, Write About Love humakot ng awards
HUMAKOT ng tropeo ang mga pelikulang “Mindanao” ni Judy Ann Santos at “Write About Love” nina Miles Ocampo, Rocco Nacino, Yeng Constantino at Joem Bascon sa katatapos lang na 2019 MMFF Gabi Ng Parangal.
Ginanap ang awards night sa New Frontier Theater sa Cubao kanina na dinaluhan ng mga artista, director at producer na may kalahok sa taunang filmfest.
Waging Best Actress si Judy Ann Santos para sa pelikulang “Mindanao” habang ang direktor nitong si Brillante Mendoza ang itinanghal na Best Director.
Ang leading man naman ni Juday sa “Mindanao” na si Allen Dizon ang nanalong Best Actor.
Ang Best Picture award naman ay nakuha rin ng “Mindanao” habang 2nd Best Picture ang “Write About Love” ng TBA Studios at 3rd Best Picture ang horror movie na “Sunod” starring Carmina Villaroel.
Ibinigay naman ang Special Jury Prize (writing) kay Crisanto Aquino para sa entry na “Write About Love” na nanalo ring Best Screenplay.
Best Supporting Actress naman ang naiuwi ni Yeng Constantino at Best Supporting si Joem Bascon para pa rin sa kanilang natatanging pagganap sa “Write About Love”.
