Listahan ng 21 regular at special non-working holidays sa 2020 inilabas na

INILABAS na ng Palasyo ang listahan ng 21 regular at special non-working holidays para sa 2020 matapos namang pirmahan ni Pangulong Duterte ang Proclamation number 845

Aabot sa 12 ang regular holidays, samantalang siyam naman ang special non-working holidays.

Kabilang sa mga regular holidays ang mga sumusunod:
-New Year’s Day- Enero 1 (Miyerkules)
-Araw ng Kagitingan- Abril 9 (Thursday)
-Maundy Thursday- Abril 9 (Thursday)
-Good Friday- Abril 10
-Labor Day- Mayo 1 (Biyernes)
-Independence Day- Hunyo 12 (Biyernes)
-National Heroes Day- Agosto 31 (huling Lunes ng Agosto)
-Bonifacio Day- Nobyembre 30 (Lunes)
-Christmas Day- Disyembre 25 (Biyernes)
-Rizal Day- Disyembre 30 (Miyerkules)

Bagamat kabilang sa mga regular holidays, wala pang partikular na petsa para sa pagdiriwang ng Eid’l Fitr at Eid’l Adha na base sa Islamic calendar (Hijra).

“To this end, the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) shall inform the Office of the President of the actual dates on which these holidays shall respectively fall,” sabi ni Pangulong Duterte sa Proclamation 845.

Kabilang naman sa mga special non-working holidays ay ang mga sumusunod”
-Chinese New Year- Enero 25 (Sabado)
-EDSA People Power Revolution Anniversary- Pebrero 25 (Tuesday)
-Black Saturday (Abril 11)
-Ninoy Aquino Day- Agosto 21 (Friday)
-All Saint’s Day- Nobyembre 1 (Linggo)
-Feast of Immaculate Conception of Mary- Disyembre 8 (Martes)
-Last Day of the Year- Disyembre 31 (Huwebes)
– Nobyembre 2 (Lunes)
-Disyembre 24 (Huwebes)
