Willing victim sa hazing parusahan din

ANG mga willing victim na recruit ng mga fraternity na sumasailalim sa hazing ay dapat din umanong patawan ng parusa.

Ito ang nais na amyenda ni Rizal Rep. Fidel Nograles sa Anti-Hazing law.

“In many cases, students join organizations despite knowing that they will be hazed. We hope that they will be deterred from joining orgs with a hazing culture if they are aware that they, too, could punished by the law,” ani Nograles.

Upang makatakas sa parusa ang mga na-hazing ay dapat na tumestigo laban sa kanyang mga ka-frat.

“If we afford these victims the protection of the law, to give them assurances against possible retaliation, perhaps future hazing cases would prosper more than fail,” dagdag pa ng solon.

Hindi naman kasali sa parurusahan ng panukala ang mga sumailalim sa hazing sa kabila ng pagtutol nito.

“If we are to end the culture of impunity in organizations that maltreat their prospective members, we should make our anti-hazing law more stringent,” dagdag pa ni Nograles. “Gaya nga ng madalas sabihin, walang maapi kung walang nagpapaapi.” dagdag pa ni Nograles. “Gaya nga ng madalas sabihin, walang maapi kung walang nagpapaapi.”
