Kasi kung pumunta ka sa Nuuk bilang bisita, maganda siya, but there’s nothing to do in Greenland.”
“Of course I had my ups and downs and anybody in their life will have this. So, how do I relate, I just try to go back what the feeling is, I guess and then present it as real as I can in the screen,” natawang sagot ng aktres sabay sabing, “How do I answer that?”
Dagdag naman ni Aga, “We have to be very careful of this kasi may mga pamilyang pinagdadaanan sa buhay, again the movie is not about that. We’re not trying to promote (depression), nagkataon lang na ‘yung lugar na pinagsyutingan is known for that, but we don’t put the country down, it’s just that iyon ang nangyayari doon.
“Kaya ‘yung tanong kung paano nakaka-relate sa depression, hindi mo alam kasi some people don’t know when they’re into depression, some people are in denial, minsan idinadaan sa inom, sa drugs at kung anu-ano pa hanggang sa maging cycle na,” paliwanag ni Aga.
“As I get older, there are more surprising roles that come my way, so when I ask ano pang mga role ang gusto ko, iyon, surprising roles and this one (NUUK) is one of those. And if I would do it all again, I would say yes and it’ll be fun to do again.
“It was one of the roles that I’ve never done, it was a great chance to work with my director, actually we became close to the people that I’ve worked with, kasi when you’re in the Philippines, you shoot and go home.
“Pero dito umuuwi ka with your crew and your director and you still bond, you get to share stories, and karaoke challenges on the boat (fishing boat), kung anu-anong pinaggagawa naming kalokohan doon, it was a real bonding experience.
“Gusto kong magpasalamat kasi in 2011, when I came back from Canada I didn’t think that I’m in my 40s and now I’m in my 50s as well that may career pa akong babalikan and I’m very grateful for all the opportunities, movies that I’ve done, TV shows are coming. I really love what I’m doing and I’m so blessed,” kuwento ni Alice.
