Javi Benitez nakatapos ng 2 college course bago nag-showbiz

NAGTAPOS ng dalawang college courses si Javi Benitez and he once worked sa corporate world but he wasn’t happy.

Now that he’s bida na sa “Alpha Kid One”, natupad ang kanyang pangarap na maging action star.

“I know na as I get older ay mas mahirap na pasukin ang industriya. I thought na the time is now. Sabi ng pamilya ko finish school first so when I finished college, I went corporate. Pero wala ‘yung passion and dedication,” he said during the press visit sa location ng shooting nila sa Tanay, Rizal.

“Growing up I watched a lot of action movies and I never thought na mabibigyan ako ng opportunity na ganito. When I found out that all these things are coming to place, I have to give my hundred and ten

percent. Sabi naman ng parents ko, if you do this, we want you to fully commit to it,” he explained.
So, what were his realization? “I realized na it’s not easy talaga. Sometimes kapag pinapanood natin, parang ‘wow, marami nang ganyan.’ Minsan may mga doubles. Pero with this I found na part of the job na ‘yung mga sugat, ‘yung mga bruises.

“Ang importante rest and safety rin. ‘Yun ang na-realize ko. Ang importante you’re fit and marami kang rest. ‘Yung mga na-ambulansiya sa amin ay walang tulog, hindi sila fit. But if you want to do action, kailangang fit ka talaga,” he said.

At dahil halos patapos na ang shooting ay nawalan ng night life ang binata, “Sa kotse palang knockout ka na. Before I used to go out with friends. But now sabi ko sayang ang training ko. Matutulog na lang ako, training bukas tapos shoot.”
