Alex Brosas - September 12, 2019 - 12:25 AM

POTENTIAL hit ang latest single ni Iñigo Pascual titled “Adios,” an upbeat track that he recorded with Singaporean hip-hop/R&B artist Akasha.

Since the song is about goodbye, he was asked kung paano niyang nagagawang less painful ang pagsasabi ng goodbye sa isang mahal niya sa buhay.

“I feel like there is no easy way to do it. I feel you’re supposed to get hurt with goodbyes sometimes and that’s how we learn from it and that’s how we pick up from our mistakes. Diyan tayo natututo.

“Sa tingin ko minsan mas okay na masakit ang goodbye para mas matuto tayo,” he said.

On Akasha na first time niyang naka-collaborate, sinabi ni Inigo na magaan katrabaho ang Singaporean singer.

“It was really easy working with each other. We met each other the day before the shoot so it was really quick. We didn’t get to have a proper introduction but we immediately clicked. She was very into nature. I was into nature also kaya parang nag-click kami agad. We’re just talking about music as well.

“I’ve been working, going back and forth to Singapore so working with the whole team is super fan. They’re supportive of my music and it’s such a blessing to have them around,” he added.

“‘Adios’ is actually a single by Singaporean artist Zadon, it’s written in Mandarin tapos inisip namin kung paano mailo-localize sa Philippines so in-adapt ko yung lyrics and we added a new part then dinagdag namin si Akasha who is talent na dine-develop ng Academy of Rock Singapore at naging perfect match sila for this project,” paliwanag ni Star Music audio content head Jonathan Manalo.

“Kahit magpalit palit ng time slot wala syang malusutan, guwardyado.
