Pelikula ng yumaong indie actor hataw sa mga int’l filmfest

Tuloy-tuloy ang pag-iikot ng pelikulang “Verdict” ni Raymund Ribay Gutierrez sa iba’t ibang international film festivals.
Matapos ang announcement na kasama ito bilang competition film sa Horizons (Orizzonti) section ng ika-76 na Venice Film Festival, ang nasabing crime drama feature ay magkakaroon ng Canadian premiere sa 44th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) sa darating na Setyembre 5 hanggang 15, 2019. Ito ang nag-iisang Filipino feature film na napili para sa TIFF ngayong taon.
Ang “Verdict,” na produkto ng Armando Lao Found Story School of Filmmaking at ng Brillante Mendoza Film Workshop, ay produced ng mentor ni director Gutierrez at film auteur na si Brillante Mendoza.
Ang pelikula ay iikot sa abused wife na naghahanap ng hustisya, at pinagbibidahan nina Max Eigenmann, ang yumaong si Kristoffer King, Jorden Suan at Rene Durian.
