Lea napiling kumanta ng 30th SEA Games theme song

Ang award-winning international singer-actress na si Lea Salonga ang napiling kumanta ng theme song para sa 30th Southeast Asian Games na magaganap sa Pilipinas sa Nov. 30.
Ang tema ng nasabing kanta ay “We Win as One” na binuo ni National Artist for Music Ryan Cayabyab at ng Palanca awardee na si Floy Quintos.
“It speaks about the ties that bond our brothers and sisters dito sa region na to,” pahayag ni Mr. C sa panayam ng ABS-CBN.
Dagdag pa niya, “Yung tagline na we win as one, (ibig sabihin) kung sino man ang manalo, lahat tayo panalo.”
Para naman kay Lea, isang malaking karangalan ang mapiling kumanta ng theme song para sa SEA Games, “It’s all about the value of hard work, the value of discipline and sport I guess teaches a lot of people something about life.”
