Anak ni Erap damay sa galit ng Manilenyo; pogi points pa more kay Isko

Ronnie Carrasco III - July 15, 2019 - 12:01 AM

WALA kaming masyadong alam tungkol kay Jerika Ejercito, anak ni dating Mayor Erap Estrada sa live-in partner nitong si Laarni Enriquez. All that we know is that she’s UK-schooled.

Hindi kataka-taka kung mahusay niyang nailatag ang kanyang posisyon hinggil sa clean-up drive initiated by her father’s successor, ang nahalal na bagong alkaldeng si Isko Moreno, is a language so fluid and unflawed.

Jerika can pass for a political analyst of sorts in some broadsheet with her good command of English.

Problem is, ang kanyang pagpuna sa liderato ni Mayor Isko smacks of bitterness arising from her father’s anticipated defeat.

It took an Isko Moreno to highlight the beauty of those areas kesa noong mga nagdaang administrasyon when those crowded, impassable streets looked like humongous flea markets.

Nakaiskor pa ng pogi points si Isko when he made a disclosure of bribery as the local business syndicates’ excuse para maipagpatuloy lang nila ang dati nang nakasanayan before his term.

Kung ganu’n kalaki ang suhulan, and if this is true, napakalaking pera pala ang pinakinabangan ng dating pamunuan? Good thing, Isko didn’t allow himself to be blinded by it.

All this may be part of imaging. Pagpapakitang-gilas. Bida-bida school of public governance. Eh, ano naman ang masama?

Aren’t these changes the people of Manila have been lobbying, na keri palang maging isang reyalidad?

And why the timing, if we may turn the tables around. Magpaliwanag muna sana ang ama ni Jerika tungkol sa P2.9 bilyong commercial contracts na nilagdaan ni Erap days before the election day. Idagdag pa ang pagiging bangkarote ng munisipyo ng Maynila with—as per COA report—a P4.4 billion deficit.

Nasaan ang mga dokumentong dapat sana’y itinurn over ng tanggapan ni Erap noong umupo na si Isko?

Kasama rin bang nawalis ang mga ‘yon as Erap’s own version of “clean-up drive”?

Just curious, Jerika.

Behind a man’s success is a woman, so they say.

Totoo ang kapaniwalaang ito sa kaso ni Danilo Barrios whose wife Regina Soqueno has been greatly instrumental in propelling him to success in business.

Aminadong walang alam sa pagpapatakbo ng negosyo ang dating Streetboys dancer, it’s through his enterprising acumen of his wife na nagkaroon siya ng malawak na kaalaman learning the ropes of the trade.

It’s a whole combination of perseverance, clientele relationship and hands-on supervision na nagbigay-daan para umabot na sa apat ang kanilang negosyo, all doing very well.

Ito’y ang Ysabelle Spa & Skin Clinic which gave birth to their online Tatioactive DX Beauty & Wellness Center, Hugo Clothing and another online shop called My Precious One which sells jewelry.

Danilo, having learned a lot from Regina’s way of doing business, confesses na mas mahirap na magkaroon ng negosyo kesa sa noong aktibo pa siya sa showbiz.
