John Lloyd, Bea pinaasa lang ang mga fans
PARANG sinadyang gawing misleading ang showbiz headline involving John Lloyd Cruz with Bea Alonzo spotted at a Palawan resort to make it appear they were doing a reunion movie.
As it turned out later, commercial shoot pala ‘yon ng isang shawarma na ang original endorser ay si Piolo Pascual.
Equally misleading ang sumunod na balitang magsasama ang tatlo, prompting the public to think that in all probability ay sa isang pelikula na ‘yon.
Prelude lang ‘baga ‘yung JLC-Bea shawarma project to something more worth the wait.
Again, ‘yun din pala ‘yon. Kumbaga, tinitilad-tilad as in ginawang installment lang ang promo blitz ng nasabing produkto. If something good came out of it, the people behind the commercial shoot succeeded in stirring public interest.
Hindi naman sila nagsinungaling as in saying that either the JLC-Bea or the JLC-Bea-Piolo project is a love triangle-themed film.
But let’s face it, ang almost three years na pagkawala ni John Lloyd sa sirkulasyon is enough to make his fans miss him and make them want to see him back in harness.
Oo nga’t visible na naman ang aktor, but the public would be a lot happier to see him in a full-length movie than in a 30-second commercial. Baka mas mapansin pa sa TVC ay ang ganda ng Palawan rather than the magical loveteam of JLC and Bea.
As it is now, mukhang maganda ang sales ng shawarma na ‘yon boasting of high revenues to afford getting the services o three of the highest paid celebrity endorsers.
Sana, sa patuloy na pagtaas ng benta nito’y ma-encourage si John Lloyd to start doing movies again.
Hindi ba’t maganda ‘yung pinanonood na siya at some commercial theatre na ang patalastas before running the film reel ay TVC pa niya?
