Liza uuwi na sa Pinas matapos magpaopera sa US; balik-Darna na rin ba?

If things shift from good to better, anytime this month ay makakabalik na ng bansa si Liza Soberano who for several weeks now has been in the US for treatment of her injured finger.

If we may timeline the events, napinsala noon ang isa sa mga daliri ng Kapamilya actress sa taping ng seryeng Bagani. This was the time, even much prior, that Liza was to be the next Darna in yet another epic movie under Star Cinema.

Sa tindi ng pinsalang tinamo niya, it wouldn’t permit her to go ahead with the project sa kabila ng pinagdaanan na niyang training.

Liza had to seek a private dialogue with her manager Ogie Diaz, at hiningi niya ang permiso nito if it was all right if she backed out of the project. Mabigat sa loob ni Liza ang sinang-ayunan ding desisyon ni Ogie.

Next came Liza’s concern about her injured finger. May mga naisagawa nang paunang gamutan dito, but it would seem more advisable if she sought further treatment in the US.

Ogie’s recent trip to the US, particularly sa Los Angeles, made him look after his ward’s condition. Kaya naman noong matiyempuhan namin si Ogie online days ago, we curiously inquired about Liza’s present condition.

Aniya, may bagong antibiotic daw na in-administer ang surgeon ni Liza sa PICC line nito. To help us better understand how it looked, pinadalhan kami ni Ogie ng ilang litrato (not necessarily taken of Liza) sa aming Facebook messenger.

We had to seek help from Google kung ano’ng ibig sabihin ng medical term (or abbreviation) na ‘yon. PICC stands for peripherally inserted central catheter.

Isa itong malambot, mahaba at flexible tube attached to either arm of the patient used to fluids, medications or nutrients at maaari ring kumuha ng blood samples for testing. Ang mismong nag-opera raw kay Liza ang nagmo-monitor nito.

But the good news is that, kung dire-diretso na ang pagbuti ng kalagayan ni Liza ay sa buwang ito na siya makakauwi.

This must be welcome news for her supporters.
Ang question na lang, kung tuluyan nang gagaling ang finger ni Liza, siya pa rin kaya ang gumanap na Darna sa bagong movie version nito? Until now kasi ay balitang wala pa ring napipili ang ABS-CBN and Star Cinema para lumipad bilang Darna kahit na nagpa-audition na sila.
