Eastern Samar niyanig ng magnitude 6.5 lindol

NAGBABALA ng pinsala at mga aftershock ang Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology sa magnitude 6.5 lindol na yumanig sa Visayas ngayong araw.

Ayon sa Phivolcs ang epicenter ng lindol ay siyam na kilometro sa kanluran ng San Julian. May lalim itong 63 kilometro at sanhi ng paggalaw ng tectonic plate.

Naramdaman ang Intensity VI sa San Julian, Eastern Samar.

Intensity V sa Tacloban City; Catbalogan City, Samar; Gen. Mc Arthur, Salcedo at Guiuan sa Eastern Samar; Naval, Biliran; Catarman, Northern Samar; Palo at Pastrana, Leyte;

Intensity IV naman sa Abuyog, Hilongos, Javier, Capoocan, Julieta, Baybay, Barogo, Jaro, MacArthur, Matalum, Villaba sa Leyte; San Francisco, Southern Leyte; Bislig City, Surigao Del Sur; Iloilo City; Naga City; Sorsogon City; at Panganiban, Catanduanes; Masbate City.

Intensity III naman sa Binalbagan, Negros Occidental; Cabalian, Southern Leyte; Dimasalang, Masbate; Butuan City; at Cabadbaran City; Legazpi City; Iriga City; Ormoc City; Argao City, Cebu; Bogo City, Cebu; at Surigao City.
Intensity II naman sa Bago City; Bacolod City; Passi City, Iloilo; Malinao, Aklan; Jamindan, Capiz; Roxas City; Talibon, Bohol; San Francisco, Cebu; Gingoog City; Mulanay, Quezon; Bago City, Negros Occidental; at Daet, Camarines Norte

Intensity I naman sa Tapaz, Capiz; Sipocot, Camarines Sur; Lapu-lapu City; at La Carlota City.
