“Tutoy is so busy but he always thinks about you. Your face is always in his mind. He feels your love, he longs for your embrace… You were his mother that gave him the heart to care for other people.
“You were the teacher who gave him his basic learnings about love, sacrifice, and forgiveness. You are the blessing that reminds him that there’s an amazing God.
“You are the first and last woman that Tutoy will ever love,” ani Vice sa liham na binasa ng kanyang ina.
“I miss you, Nanay. See you very soon. Hoping for your kind consideration. Respectfully yours, Tutoy.”
Ikaw ang unang nawalay when you were still very young. Alam kong marami kang tampo, anak.
“Now that I am home, I’m also trying to give what you have missed. Hindi ako nagtatampo sa iyo, gusto ko lang talaga na you will spend more time with me kasi I don’t know how long I will be here.
“So thank you, anak, for your letter. You are excused,” naiiyak pang pahayag ni Nanay Rosario.
