“I think the budget can be made to fit depending on the scale of our hosting of the SEA Games. I don’t think its easy to peg a ‘sufficient’ amount as it depends on how grand we want the SEA Games to be,” ani Sambar sa isang text message sa Bandera. “We can also tap our private sector to be more invested in our hosting and explore creative ways in how they can be more involved in the SEA Games,” dagdag pa nito. “If time permits, we can also explore the possibility of passing a supplemental budget to help defray some of the costs that should be covered by the national government.” aniya. “P5 billion is better than zero. I hope the amount is released on time for preparations of the SEAG,” ani Nograles.
