Barangay chairman sa Tondo patay sa pamamaril

PATAY ang isang chairman ng barangay matapos pagbabarilin ng dalawang hindi pa nakikilalang riding-in-tandem sa Tondo, Maynila Martes ng hapon.

Binaril si Marcelino Ortega, chairman ng Barangay 199, Zone 18 sa panulukan ng Hermosa at Pilar st. ganap na alas-2:58 ng hapon, ayon kay Police Officer 3 Jimmy Pelagio.

Idinagdag ni Pelagio na dinala si Ortega sa ospital bagamat idineklarang dead on arrival.

Nagsasagawa na ng imbestigasyon ang mga otoridad kaugnay ng motibo sa pagpatay.
