Suicide bomber nasa likod ng pambobomba sa Jolo, Sulu-Du30

IBINUNYAG ni Pangulong Duterte na suicide bomber ang nasa likod ng pambobomba sa Cathedral sa Jolo, Sulu na ikinamatay ng 21 katao at ikinasugat ng mahigit 70 iba pa.

“Yes. Blowing them up,” sabi ni Duterte sa isang ambush interview nang tanungin kung suicide bomber na miyembro ng Abu Sayyaf ang nasa likod ng pambobomba.

Idinagdag ni Duterte na babae ang nagsilbing suicide bomber.

“Ang problema ‘yan ang… Kasi ‘yung babae may — was wearing a cross pa eh. Malaking cross sa dibdib niya. Who would ever think that…,” dagdag ni Duterte.

Kasabay nito, ipinagtanggol ni Duterte ang militar na may nangyaring security lapses kayat nalusutan sa kabila nang ipinapatupad na martial law sa Mindanao.

“No. I don’t think so. Walang lapses doon because the other bomber was outside. There was no reason for him to be frisked. Either he was just passing by before blowing himself up. Well those are the — ‘yung Murphy’s Law: If anything can go wrong, it will go wrong. Misapprehension or misappreciation. Lahat na, contributed,” ayon pa kay Duterte.

Nilinaw naman ni Duterte na hindi naghuhugas ng kamay ang gobyerno sa nangyaring terorismo.

“But we are not washing our hands. Every time that there is death of a Filipino by violence, unless of course, eh lumaban sa pulis o military, that is a failure in governance to protect the people and the Filipino. And we admit that those lapses in our responsibility,” giit ni Duterte.
