Sinong kongresista ang pinakamalaki ang gastos noong 2017?
ANG opisina ni dating House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez ang may pinakamalaking gastos sa mga kongresista noong 2017.
Ayon sa inilathalang ulat ng Commission on Audit na may pamagat na Itemized List of Amounts Paid To and Expenses Incurred nakasaad na gumastos ng P43.7 milyon ang opisina ni Alvarez noong 2017.
Si Alvarez at naalis na speaker noong Hulyo 2018.
Sa naturang halaga P30.4 milyon ang nasa ilalim ng “contractual consultants”.
Kasama sa ginastusan ang suweldo, biyahe sa ibang bansa, chairmanship allocations, district / field staff allocations, representation, consultative local travels, communication, supplies, public affairs fund, central office staff, at maintenance and other operating expenses, equipment at kasangkapan sa opisina.
Pumangalawa naman si PBA Rep. Jericho Nograles na nagkakahalaga ng P23.4 milyon. Dalawa ang opisina ni Nograles dahil siya ay caretaker ng Sulu matapos na mamatay si Rep. Tupay Loong.
Sumunod naman si Kalinga Rep. Allen Jesse Mangaoang (P22.2 milyon), DIWA Rep. Emmeline Aglipay (P20.4 milyon), North Cotabato Rep. Nancy Catamco (P20.06 milyon), Pangasinan Rep. Leopold Bataoil (P19.69 milyon).
Southern Leyte Rep. Roger Mercado’s office (P19.67 milyon), North Cotabato Rep. Jesus Sacdalan (P19.12 milyon), Cagayan Rep. Randolph Ting (P19.09 milyon), Misamis Oriental Rep. Peter Unabia (P19.04 milyon).
