Necrological service para kay Batocabe itinakda bukas
MAGSASAGAWA ng necrological service sa Kamara de Representantes bukas ng umaga para sa pinaslang na si Ako Bicol Rep. Rodel Batocabe.
Inaasahan ang pagdating ng misis ni Batocabe na si Girtie at ang kanilang mga anak na sina Atty. Jhustine at Khiel.
“We celebrate his memory as an unyielding advocate of eradicating poverty through affordable quality education. He was also a proponent of legislative efforts to mitigate the occurrence of hazing and bullying in schools. A lawyer by profession, he took a firm stand in promoting social justice, women empowerment, environmental protection, renewable energy and universal access to health and education,” saad ng ipinamahaging imbitasyon.
Isang misa ang idaraos bago ang programa alas-10 ng umaga sa plenaryo ng Kamara.

He was the delegate of Ako Bicol Party-List to Congress for three consecutive terms and a lead convenor and spokesperson of the Party-List Coalition in the past Congresses. In the 17th Congress, he was the president of the 50-member Party-List Coalition.”
Si Batocabe ay pinagbabaril kasama ang kanyang escort na si SPO1 Orlando Diaz noong Disyembre 22 habang namimigay ng regalo sa Brgy. Burgos, Daraga, Albay.
