Singil sa kuryente bababa ngayong buwan

BABABA ng P0.3418 kada kiloWatt hour ang singil ng Manila Electric Company ngayong buwan.

Ayon sa Meralco bumaba sa P9.8385 kada kiloWatt hour ang singil ngayong Enero mula sa P10.1803 noong Disyembre.

Ang mga gumagamit ng 200 kWh kada buwan ay mababawasan ng P68 sa kanilang babayaran.

Ang pagbaba ay dulot ng mas mababang generation charge ngayong buwan na nagkakahalaga ng P4.9119 kada kWh mula sa P5.3303 o pagbaba na P0.4184 kada kWh.

“Lower PSA charges were brought about by a reduction in capacity fees as a result of the annual reconciliation of outage allowances done at the end of each year under the PSAs approved by the Energy Regulatory Commission,” ano joe Zaldarriaga, Public Information Office head ng Meralco.

Bumaba rin ang singil sa Wholesale Electricity Spot Market ng P0.0165 kada kWh dahil sa pagganda ng sitwasyon ng Luzon grid. Bumaba ang demand ng kuryente sa Luzon grid ng 101 MegaWatt.

Tumaas naman ang presyo ng kuryente sa Independent Power Producers ng P0.0847 kada kWh dahil sa paghina ng halaga ng peso kontra dolyar.

Tumaas din ang transmission charge ng P0.1210 kada kWh dahil sa mas mataas na Ancillary Services Charges. Tumaas din ang buwis ng P0.0444 kada kWh.
