Magnitude 7.2 yumanig sa Mindanao

NIYANIG ng magnitude 7.2 lindol ang Davao Oriental kaninang umaga.

Ayon sa Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology naramdaman ang lindol alas-11:39 ng umaga. Ang epicenter ng lindol ay 169 kilometro sa silangan ng Governor Generoso. May lalim itong 59 kilometro at sanhi ng paggalaw ng tectonic plate sa lugar.

Posible umanong magkaroon ng aftershock ang lindol na ito.

Naramdaman ang Intensity V sa Governor Generoso, Davao Oriental; Glan, Sarangani; Koronadal City.

Intensity IV naman sa General Santos City; Tupi, South Cotabato; Alabel, Sarangani; Kiamba at Malungon, Sarangani; Mati City at Manay, Davao Oriental;Davao City; Rosario, Agusan Del Sur; Lebak at Kalamasig, Sultan Kudarat.

Intensity III naman sa Makilala, North Cotabato; Valencia City and Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon at Cagayan De Oro City; Maitum, Sarangani; Tagum City; Mabini, Compostela Valley; Tacurong City; Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur; Don Marcelino, Davao Occidental; Kidapawan City; Tacloban City; Banga, South Cotabato; Palo, Leyte; Borobo, Surigao del Sur; Bislig City; Hinatuan, Surigao Del Sur; Butuan City, T’boli, South Cotabato; at Gingoog City, Misamis Oriental.

Intensity II sa Kadingilan at Don Carlos, Bukidnon; Tagoloan at El Salvador City, Misamis Oriental; M’lang at Tulunan, North Cotabato; Surallah, South Cotabato; Surigao City; Iligan City; Cagwait, Surigao Del Sur, Palo, Leyte; Cagayan de Oro City; Cebu City; at Borongan City.

Intensity I naman sa Zamboanga City at Ormoc City.

Nagpalabas din ang Phivolcs ng tsunami alert at pinalayo sa pampang ang mga taon na ang bahay ay malapit sa dagat.
