Member ng Belladonnas awang-awa sa mga nasa Home for the Aged
TWENTY year old Quinn Carillo of the Belladonnas is focused on her studies and her work as a dancer and singer of a group which has already achieved something even if they were just one year in showbiz.
This Electronics Engineering student from the Technological Institute of the Philippines is all bent to finish her studies, even if it means juggling work with her schooling.
“I’ve always wanted to be in the aviation field and I’ve been told that mas kinukuha nila ang mga ECE students kasi may broad ‘yung range ng studies. During my studies, hindi naman ako nagsisisi kasi marami kaming tine-take up,” she said.
She has learned to balance her time in the process, “Noong previous months, all about time management lang talaga. Naiintindihan naman ng management kapag may school work at inuuna ko po. Kapag may work or may training diretso kami dito.”
Among the group’s performances, ang fiesta sa Muntinlupa ang memorable sa kanya, “Iba ang crowd doon and the way they welcomed us. At noong nag-Farmer’s din kami. You can feel the energy so mas parang nae-excite kang mag-perform, mas lalo mong hina-hype ‘yung crowd.”
As a Belladonna member, nawala ang hiya ni Quinn, something she is happy about. She also shared how she was touched when she and her family plus her group went to the Home for the Aged and Boystown.
“Yearly we do that, nagtsa-charity po kami. Nakakalungkot po especially doon sa Boystown and Home for the Aged. Iba po ‘yung matatanda na nasa multi-purpose hall at ‘yung naka-quarantine. ‘Yung mga bed-ridden na lang at malalalang sakit bawal puntahan. Naka-quarters lang sila, ibibigay lang ang food. Sobrang nalungkot akong tingnan kasi ang iba doon ay hindi na nabibisita ng family,” she related.
Napapanood regularly ang Belladonnas sa Banana Sundae.
