Sa inilabas na Shellfish Bulletin ng BFAR, nagpositibo umano sa paralytic shellfish poison ang Matarinao Bay sa Eastern Samar, Lianga Bay sa Surigao del Sur; sa tubig ng Dauis at Tagbilaran City sa Bohol; at Milagros sa Masbate.
Dumagdag din sa listahan ang Puerto Princesa Bay sa Puerto Princesa City sa Palawan.
“All types of shellfish and Acetes sp. or alamang gathered from the area are not safe for human consumption,” saad ng advisory. “Fish, squids, shrimps and crabs are safe for human consumption provided that they are fresh and washed thoroughly, and internal organs such as gills and intestines are removed before cooking.”
