Mga pang noche buena nagtaasan na – DTI

SINABI ni Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) na mahigit kalahati ng mga produktong pang-noche buena ang nagtaasan na ang suggested retail prices (SRPs) ngayong taon.

Idinagdag ni Trade Undersecretary Ruth Castelo, na siyang pinuno ng consumer protection group, na mangangahulugan ito na mas maghihigpit pa ng sinturon ang mga Pinoy, na ilang buwan nang apektado ng pagtaas ng inflation.

Sinabi ni Castelo na mahigit 65 porsiyento ng mga produkto ang nagtaas na ng mga SRPs ngayong taon.

Samantala, 25 porsiyento naman ng mga produkto ang hindi pa nagtataas, samantalang dalawang porsiyento lamang ang nagbaba ng kanilang SRPs.

Sinabi naman ni Victorio Dimagiba, presidente ng Laban Konsyumer, Inc. (LKI) na tumaas ang SRPs ng queso de bola mula P20 hanggang P55,samantalang tumaas naman ang SRP ng ham mula P5 hanggang P38.75.

Base sa komputasyon ng LKI, kabilang sa SRP ng mga ng mga pang noche buena ang fruit cocktail (P2.25 hanggang P10.75), keso (P1.90 to P18.10), sandwich spread (25 sentimo hanggang P9.80), mayonnaise (30 sentimo hanggang P25.75), pasta/spaghetti (85 sentimo hanggang P4.50), elbow at salad macaroni (95 sentimo hanggang P6.50), spaghetti sauce (20 sentimo hanggang P3), creamer (P2 hanggang P6.50), at tomato sauce (25 sentimo to P5.50)
