Sinabi ng chairman ng komite na si Camiguin Rep. Xavier Jesus Romualdo na mayroong mga bagay na hindi natapos sa naunang imbestigasyon.
“We’ll be trying to tie up some loose ends. Probably, we can still hold a hearing or two,” ani Romualdo na pumalit kay Surigao del Sur Rep. Johnny Pimentel bilang chairman ng komite.
Ayon kay Romualdo natapos ng imbestigasyon ni Pimentel ang 80 porsyento ng isyu at ang tatapusin niya ay ang nalalabing 20 porsyento.
“As far as I’m concerned, it’s a fresh start because I was not part of the previous panel and I haven’t even read the articles in the newspapers,” an Romualdo.
Mayroong lumabas na draft report sa imbestigasyon ni Pimentel na nagsasabi umanong nag-aabsuwelto kay Aquino.
Kasamang inimbestigahan sina dating Budget Sec. Butch Abad at dating health Sec. Janette Garin.
