‘Nanakot pa! Dapat ginaya ni Mocha ang pagre-resign ni Ice Seguerra!’
UNLIKE any story from the now-extinct Pinoy komiks, Mocha Uson’s goings-on in her life are sandwiched between “itutuloy” and “wakas.”
Just when the madlang pipol kasi thought na sa wakas ay “Good riddance!” na ang puwede nilang isigaw sa kanyang pagbibitiw bilang PCOO ASec, aba, may hirit pa ang hitad. Umpisa pa lang daw ‘yon ng laban.
What fight is Mocha talking about? War on drugs? War in Marawi? The US-Iran war?
Nagsisintir kasi ang hitad sa pagtapyas ng budget ng PCOO over the deliberations na hindi niya napuntahan as she was at a UN assembly. Sinisisi niya ang mga left-leaning senators for the budget cutdown. Nadamay pa ang tribung Lumad.
So, anong laban ang tinutukoy niya? Could it be the senatorial race? May tatlong araw pa kasi mula ngayon sa pagpa-file ng COC para sa mga tatakbo sa darating na halalan.
Ayon sa ulat early last week, anim mula sa mga kasalukuyang nanunungkulan under the Duterte administration ang tatakbo, three of whom ay sa Senado. Could it be that Mocha is one of them?
Pero hindi ba’t tinabla na siya ni Sen. Koko Pimentel?
May tsika namang ire-reassign lang siya, sa OWWA raw. Naku, parang “owwa” mo na, Mocha, aagawan mo pa ng eksena si Arnel Ignacio!
Should the madlang pipol take Mocha’s long overdue resignation to mean na tatakbo siya for an elective post, at ito ba ang tinutukoy niyang laban na hindi pa tapos?
Sey nga ng kaibigang Nadia Gina on Facebook—albeit without naming names—nag-resign lang daw pala. It would have been news had Mocha committed suicide.
Without morbid thoughts, disente na lang sanang nag-exit si Mocha. May halong pagpapakumbaba kalakip ang pasasalamat sa mga leksiyong natutunan.
She should have taken a cue from Ice Seguerra na tulad niya’y nag-resign din amidst speculations how unhappy or disgruntled she was noong nakapuwesto siya. Sa halip, Ice showed grace and gratitude in her exit.
Pero itong si Mocha, may ipinabaon pang banta as if her threatening words would cause a miracle. Tigilan na ni Mocha ang ganitong aria which only reeks of bitterness.
With her resignation, Mocha has done us a favor big enough for everyone to rejoice and celebrate. Pero huwag daw magpakasaya ang marami if this could be considered as her opponents’ victory.
Dahil ang totoo, ang tinutukoy niyang laban ay ang patuloy niyang pagba-blog this time bound by no rules on ethics. Go ahead, girl. But remember the responsibility that goes with that freedom as it is not absolute.
Hindi vodka, hindi purified drinking water.
