“ANG kasalanan ko lang ‘yung mga extrajudicial killing”.
Ito ang tahasang sinabi ni Pangulong Duterte matapos pangunahan ang oath-taking ng mga bagong Career Executive Service Officers (CESOs) sa Malacanang.
“Ako, I will talk to — eh political exercise now. What are your sins? Ako? Sabi ko nga sa military, anong kasalanan ko? Nagnakaw ba ako diyan ni piso? Sige daw. Did I prosecute somebody na ipinakulong ko?” dagdag pa ni Duterte.
Ito’y sa harap naman ng mga batikos kaugnay ng muling pagpapakulong kay Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV matapos bawiin ang amnestiyang ibinigay sa kanya ni dating pangulong Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III
Muli ring ipinagtanggol ni Duterte ang gera kontra droga, kasabay ng pagbanat sa mga bumabatikos dito.

But what right are you here to… You are actually exercising functions which you are not supposed to do. It belongs to government. At the very least, you are committing usurpation of authority,” giit ni Duterte.
