Very emotional si Alyanna Martinez-Macam, anak ni Albert Martinez dahil muntik na siyang makasama sa hostage-taking na nangyari sa Los Angeles.

“I am thanking God for sparing my family from this tragedy that could have easily been one of us. This is our Trader Joe’s branch that we frequent we were there and left exactly 1 MINUTE before this man held hostage around 40 people in the store and open fired killing 1 woman and injured little children!?

“I remember I was messaging my sister Alissa right as we were leaving the parking lot not knowing what was going to happen at the exact same spot right before it happened and I just checked the time stamp and it was at 1:29! This happened at 1:30!!!” caption ni Alyanna sa kanyang photo.

“We were there literally right before it happened. I am stressed thinking about what if we stayed even just 5-10 mins longer,” she told one of her friends on Facebook.

Ang daming nag-message kay Alyanna.

“Your Guardian Angel doesn’t sleep. Happy you are safe.”

“We were in traffic when the helicopters were flying around. Thank god you guys left!”

“Thank god you are all safe. You truly have a guardian angel in ate Liezl.”

Sumagot ang anak ni Albert ng, “These days how do you even know where it is safe or not? This was in a super good neighborhood and it just so happens that’s where his car crashed and where he decided to hide out and hold people hostage totally random.

“It’s like you just need to count your lucky stars and just pray you don’t end up at the wrong place at the wrong time.”
