PAOLO Valenciano, son of Gary Valenciano, fumed when two news organizations reported that his father has kidney cancer.

Mataray ang kanyang retort sa report as he said, “Hi..FYI he is already cancer free. You can’t post sh***t like this without informing the family. My head started spinning after I read that msg. Jesus.”

Sa isang news org ay ito naman ang kanyang concise pagtataray: “HAD cancer.”

With that, na-bash si Paolo as some netizens gave him some enlightenment about cancer.

“Fyi, someone who had recently been cured from cancer isn’t cancer free yet, after the first five years from when it was diagnosed and treated, if di bumalik that’s when you’re pronounced cancer free. For breast cancer patients i think initial is 5yrs but they wait out to the 8th and 10th year since most ngrerecur cancer sa breast cancer patients.”

“It’s a matter of tenses morelike ung hanash nya, but the fight isnt over yet, so prayers a lot of it and watching one’s health to get to the goal. Mejo mayabang anak nya to blow his temper over this when the fight isnt even over yet, not even half. – cancer patient here on my 2nd year ‘cancer free.’”

“Right. Whether ‘has’ or ‘had’ was used at dahil ang pamilya nila ay God fearing at para yatang isa sa mga active sa kanilang church sana Paolo should have just talked to the powers that be sa network para na rectify ang si-tuation instead of posting his sentiments on social media. Kung ayaw pag usapan ng pamilya ang cancer baket may interview.”

“You’ll have to wait five years with no cancer detected before you can be declared cancer free. He is just being OA. Be thankful and shut up nalang. He is ignorant of facts.”

For a supposedly Christian guy, medyo nagulat siguro ang netizens when Paolo used the word “sh***t”.
