Hirit ni Napoles na ilipat siya ng kulungan ibinasura ng Sandiganbayan

Ibinasura ng Sandiganbayan First Division ang mosyon ng pork barrel fund scam queen na si Janet Lim Napoles na mailipat sa witness protection program.
Sa apat na pahinang desisyon, sinabi ng korte na si Napoles ay legal na nakakulong dahil sa kinakaharap niyang kaso kaugnay ng P224.5 milyong plunder case ni dating Sen. Ramon Bong Revilla Jr.
“The Program shall not take into protective custody a witness who is under detention for any lawful cause. However, it shall direct the custodian of the witness to take necessary measures to ensure the safety and security of the witness,” saad ng korte.
Hiniling ni Napoles na mailipat ng kulungan sa ilalim ng WPP dahil sa kanyang provisional admission matapos na ikonsidera siyang testigo ng Department of Justice.
“Notably, the said provision does not admit of any exception. Verily, the denial of the instant motion is warranted under the premises,” dagdag pa ng desisyon ng korte.
Sa kasalukuyan si Napoles ay nakakulong sa Camp Bagong Diwa sa Taguig City.
Bukod sa First Division naghain din si Napoles ng kaparehong mosyon sa Third Division kung saan dinidinig ang kanyang kasong plunder kasama si dating Sen. Juan Ponce Enrile at Fifth Division kung nasaan ang plunder case ni dating Sen. Jinggoy Estrada.
Si Napoles ay inakusahang nasa likod ng pagkuha ng mga pork barrel fund ng mga mambabatas na ipinapasok sa kanyang mga bogus na non-government organization kapalit ang kickback.
