Poe hiniling sa LTFRB tiyakin hindi apektado ang mga pasahero ng pagbili ng Grab sa Uber

NANAWAGAN si Sen. Grace Poe sa Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) na tiyakin na hindi apektado ang serbisyo ng transport network vehicle services (TNVS) sa mga pasahero matapos naman ang pahayag ng Uber na ibebenta na ang bahagi nito sa Southeast Asia sa karibal na Grab.

“Although this is a business decision which should ultimately be settled between Grab and Uber, it is still imbued with public interest.  We all know that thousands of commuters rely on TNVS to ferry them to work and other places of destination,” sabi ni Poe sa isang pahayag.

Idinagdag ni Poe na mas maganda sana kung maraming pagpipilian ang mga mananakay ng TNVS.

“So the most important thing is that service to our commuters will not be disrupted.  In this connection, LTFRB should ensure that the number of available vehicles to serve the public should at least be maintained and that the only change effected would be the ownership issue and not the service convenience and availability,” ayon pa kay Poe.

Sinabi ni Poe na dapat buksan ng LTFRB ang TNVS market sa mga lokal na kompanya.

Nauna nang sinabi ng Uber na hanggang Abril 8 na lamang ang kanilang serbisyo at ililipat na ito sa Grab.
