Palasyo ipinatawag si US Ambassador Kim matapos ang bansag kay Du30 na banta sa demokrasya

IPINATAWAG ni Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea si United States Ambassador to the Philippines Sung Kim matapos namang ang pinakahuling US Intelligence Community Worldwide Threat Assessment report kung saan binansagan si Pangulong Duterte na bansa sa demokrasya.

Sa isang pahayag na ipinalabas ni Presidential Spokesperson Harryo Roque,  sinabi nito na naganap ang pagpupulong nina Medialdea at Kim noong Pebrero 22.

“Executive Secretary Medialdea likewise instructed the Department of Foreign Affairs, through our Philippine embassy in Washington D.C., to coordinate and engage with the US agencies involved in the writing of the assessment,” sabi ni Roque.

Idinagdag ni Roque na inatasan din ni Medialdea ang mga opisyal at empleyado ng embahada ng Pilipinas sa US na magbigay ng tamang impormasyon na nangyayaei sa Pilipinas.

“ES Medialdea further directed our embassy officials and staff  n the US to provide the latter accurate information on the realities happening on the ground in the Philippines, including the actions taken by the President and his administration to promote socioeconomic development for the country and provide a safe and secure environment for all Filipinos, respecting at all times the rule of law,” dagdag ni Roque.
