Du30 personal na bumisita sa Albay; pagkakasakit ng mga bakwit pinaaagapan

PERSONAL na bumisita kahapon si Pangulong Duterte sa Legaspi, Albay kung saan pinangunahan niya ang pagpupulong para alamin ang kalagayan ng mga evacuees na apektado ng pagsabog ng Mount Mayon.
“First sabi nga ni Governor (Al Francis C. Bichara) I will take care first of the food its running short I’m giving you about magkano pera mo? I’ll give you initially today P20 million. I will augment it tomorrow by about P50 (million) for the operation lahat na pagkain,” sabi ni Duterte.
Partikular na binanggit ni Duterte ang isyu ng hygiene at sanitation sa mga evacuation center sa harap naman ng ulat ng pagkakasakit ng mga evacuees.
“I’m interested in the hygiene or sanitation of the place in the meantim if there is none constructed we have to sometime deliver a sanitary way of disposing human waste. If there are available portable toilets in Manila we can always send them,” ayon pa kay Duterte.
Idinagdag ni Duterte na dapat ay masolusyunan ang pagkalat ng mga sakit sa mga evacuation centers.
“Contamination usually… there is congregation, there near each, other infection can break away in a matter of days, contamination ng lahat so it is always demanded of the situationn that we safeguard health so we have to provide temporary shelters itong karamihan tents and they are exposed to ravages of nature,” ayon pa kay Duterte.

Kasabay nito, iniutos ni Duterte na tiyakin na walang tao na papasok sa danger zone.
“Human beings kept by distance or removed from danger zone and provide for the services, ito isa sa pinakamahirap na trabaho sa gobyerno how to handle human beings in case of a crisis,” sabi pa ni Duterte.

Nagbigay naman ang Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) ng P25 milyong donasyon para sa Albay.

“You spend it the way you want sanitation I said is very important we will remedy the situation yan talaga,” ayon pa kay Duterte.
