Mayor Olivarez, Roselle Nava, Yllana inireklamo sa Ombudsman

Inireklamo ng plunder at graft sa Office of the Ombudsman si Paranaque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez at mga konsehal ng siyudad kaugnay ng maanomalya umanong pagbawas sa babayarang buwis ng isang kompanya na campaign fund contributor umano ng alkalde.
Bukod kay Olivarez, inihain ni kagawad Jonathan Bernardo ang reklamo kahapon laban sa mga konsehal na sina singer turned politician Roselle Nava-Tan, komedyanteng John Ryan Yllana, Rufino Allanigue, Merlies Antipuesto, Vincent Kenneth Favis, Florencia Amurao, Brillante Inciong, Joan Villafuerte, Maritess De Asis, at Jacqueline Bustamante-Mendoza, City Legal Officer Rommel Frias, at officer-in-charge City Treasurer Anthony Pulmano at DM Wenceslao and Associates Inc.
Ayon kay Bernardo nalugi ang lokal na pamahalaan ng P500 milyon sa pinasok na kasunduan ng mga akusado sa Wenceslao and Associates para sa buwis ng lupa sa Entertainment City na hindi nito nabayaran.
Mula sa P12,000 kada metro kuwadrado ay ibinaba umano ng mga akusado ang bayarin sa P6,000 kada metro kuwadrado. Ang babayarang P723.2 milyon umano ay naibaba sa P269.8 milyon.
“Suffice it to state that the above discounts constitute as sufficient evidence that the current agreement approved by the SP is manifestly and grossly disadvantageous to the City of Paranaque. To think that the discount granted was even more than the fifty percent (50%) indicated in the SP approved compromise agreement – a whopping 62.68% discount!” saad ng reklamo.
