Palasyo nagpaliwanag sa banta ni DU30 na di susunod sa SC kaugnay ng martial law declaration

NAGPALIWANAG ang Palasyo sa naging pahayag ni Pangulong Duterte matapos naman niyang sabihin na hindi nito susundin ang Korte Suprema sakaling kontrahin ang idineklarang martial law sa Mindanao.

“The President meant that those who really are truly in — truly aware of the situation are the military and the police. This is not meant to bypass the Supreme Court or the legislative,” sabi ni Presidential Spokesperson Ernesto Abella sa isang briefing sa Malacanang.

Idinagdag ni Abella na ang mga militar at pulis ang nakakaalam ng totoong sitwasyon sa Marawi City.
“What the President is actually saying is that the one that has accurate information, regarding the activities on the ground, on the ground, are those that he have — he has already said he will trust,” ayon pa kay Abella.
Idinagdag pa ni Abella na dapat ay magkaroon ng dayalogo ang Korte Suprema sa Armed Forces of the Philippiens (AFP) at Philippine National Police (PNP) sakaling kuwestiyunin ang legalidad ng pagdedeklara ng martial law.
“They should be in conversation and they can continue to make decisions and they can continue to make recommendations,” sabi pa ni Abella.
