KINORONAHAN bilang 2016 Miss Universe si Miss France Iris Mittenaere.
Tinalo niya ang 85 kandidata mula sa iba’t ibang bansa kabilang na ang pambato ng Pilipinas na si Maxine Medina na umabot naman hanggang Top 6.
First Runner up naman si Miss Haiti habang si Miss Columbia ay tinanghal na Second Runner up.
Pinabilib ni Miss France ang mga hurado nang sagutin nito ang tanong na: “Name something over the course of your life you failed at and what you learned from that experience?”
“When you fail, you have to be elevated and you have to try again to keep going. If tonight, I am not the winner, I will still have the great honor of being one of the three finalists. So I think, I may have failed before, but for me this is a great first opportunity,” sagot ni Miss France.
