Palasyo idineklara ang Dec. 26 at Jan.2 bilang special non working holiday

IDINEKLARA ng Palasyo ang Disyembre 26, 2016 (Lunes) at Enero 2, 2017 (Lunes) bilang special non working holiday sa buong bansa.

Ipinalabas ni Acting Executive Secretary Menardo I. Guevarra ang Proclamation  number 117 para sa karagdagang holiday.

“The declaration of December 2, 2016 and January 2, 2017, both falling on  Monday, as special non-working days will give the people full opportunity to celebrate the holidays with their families and loved ones,” sabi ni Guevarra.

Idinagdag ni Guevarra na makakatulong pa ito sa pagsusulong ng turismo sa bansa.

Kabilang si Guevarra sa caretaker committee na itinalaga ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte habang siya ay nasa state visit sa Cambodia at Singapore.

Kasama ni Duterte si Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea. (Bella Cariaso)
